Hair & Beauty Rewards is a loyalty programme offered to our online customers in New Zealand. If you are part of the Hair & Beauty Rewards programme, you agree and consent to these terms and conditions.

Joining the Hair & Beauty Rewards Programme

a. Customers with a Hair & Beauty Online trade account (including Home Hairdressing/Beauty and Muk Hair stockist accounts) are excluded from this loyalty programme. If you are approved for a trade account after joining, you will no longer be able to earn or redeem points.

b. Any other customer who signs up for an online account is automatically enrolled in our Hair & Beauty Rewards programme.

c. Creating a new account is easy. You need to sign up as a new customer and provide us with an email address (which can only be registered to one account), a first name and a last name.

d. If you are under the age of 18, you must have your parent or guardian's approval to join the Hair & Beauty Rewards programme. Your parent or guardian will need to read these Terms & Conditions. We will assume, if you are under 18 when you join, that you have complied with these requirements.

How Hair & Beauty Rewards Work

a. You earn points by purchasing products from our online store while you are logged into your customer account. It is your responsibility to make sure you are logged into your account before checking out if you want to earn points.

b. You will earn 1 point for every $1 spent. Points can be redeemed for a discount once you reach 100 points, worth a $10 discount. From there, points redeem in $10 increments (e.g. 100 points = $10 discount, 200 points = $20 discount, 300 points = $30 discount, and so on).

c. Points are earned according to the total amount spent after any discounts are applied. Example: order total $50 minus $10 coupon discount, so you earn points on the $40 order value only.

d. You can still earn points on products that are on sale. You will earn points according to the sale price, not the original price (minus any further discounts if applicable).

e. Points usually cannot be redeemed in conjunction with coupon codes.

f. If your order is refunded or cancelled, the points you earned from this order will be removed from your account. If you have any pending orders where you have redeemed points you previously earned from an order that was recently refunded, your pending order may be cancelled, or you may be asked to pay the discounted amount. A pending order refers to an order that has been paid for but has not yet been dispatched.

g. You automatically earn 100 points when you sign up for a new customer account.

h. You will earn 10 points for each product review that is accepted by our customer service team. We will only accept genuine reviews on our website. If your review includes profanity or language deemed inappropriate, the review will not be accepted. Hair & Beauty Online reserves the right not to accept product reviews if there appear to be multiple ingenuine product reviews from one customer account.

How to View Your Hair & Beauty Rewards

a. You will receive an email notification each time you earn points. This email will tell you how many points you earned from your recent purchase and your new balance.

b. You can log into your customer account and view your points balance and transaction history. Simply visit the Rewards section of My Account.

How to Redeem Your Hair & Beauty Rewards

a. You can choose to apply your points at the Cart or Checkout page once you have reached the 100-point minimum. Simply select the reward or use the slider to choose how many points you wish to redeem, in $10 increments, and click Apply. The discount will appear underneath the order subtotal.

b. If you have clicked Apply but then wish to remove the discount, you can do this by clicking Remove before proceeding with payment.

Rewards Expiration

a. Points expire after 12 months. You will receive a courtesy email 30 days before points are due to expire.

Restrictions to your Hair & Beauty Rewards Account

a. You can only have one Hair & Beauty Rewards account.

b. Rewards are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or equivalent.

c. Hair & Beauty Online reserves the right to remove points from a user if the user has violated our terms & conditions.

Changes to these Terms & Conditions

a. We keep these Terms & Conditions on the Hair & Beauty Online website, so it is easy for you to access them.

b. We try not to change these Terms & Conditions too often, but sometimes we need to. When we change these Terms & Conditions, we will put the updated version on the Hair & Beauty Online website. It is your responsibility to review these Terms & Conditions periodically for changes.

c. Hair & Beauty Online reserves the right to change the rewards programme as it sees fit, at any time and without prior notice, which includes but is not limited to changing the NZD to points conversion rate, the redemption structure or increments, disabling points earning and/or redeeming when major promotions are running, and excluding certain products/brands/categories from earning points.

d. If you continue to use the Hair & Beauty Rewards programme after we change these Terms & Conditions, you will be deemed to have accepted the changed Terms & Conditions.
