Frequently Asked Questions
Should I choose the original or wide plate straighteners?
If you have thick, curly, long or textured hair, we recommend the wide plate version for quicker, easier styling.
Do Muk hair straighteners damage hair?
As they’re designed with infrared technology and variable temperature settings, allowing you to tailor the heat to your hair type. They actually help infuse moisture during styling, leaving your hair smooth, shiny, and healthy. Always use a heat protectant during styling to prevent damage.
Are Muk straighteners ceramic or titanium?
Muk straighteners are ceramic, ensuring even heat distribution for smooth, consistent results without hot spots.
Are Muk hair tools better than Ghd?
Muk tools offer more control and care for your hair. Unlike Ghd, Muk electrical features infrared technology and adjustable temperature settings, so you can tailor the heat to suit your exact hair type. You can turn the heat down to protect damaged or fine hair, or crank it up to style thick, coarse hair for smoother, longer-lasting results. This makes Muk an excellent choice for anyone who wants beautiful results without compromising hair health.
Can I travel with Muk hair tools?
Yes! Muk tools are dual voltage (110–240V), so they can be used internationally with the right plug adapter.
Do Muk hair straighteners turn off?
Yes, all Muk straighteners feature an automatic 1-hour safety shut-off for peace of mind.
