This shampoo has DEFINITELY brightened my hair. It removed so much residue and buildup from colour-correcting shampoos that I felt as if I had been re-bleached. It doesn’t really lighten the hair per-se, but it has a lovely champagne tone to it and keeps it clean enough that no buildup can darken or discolour it. I also adore the way it makes my hair look almost glittery. Perfect mermaid hair shampoo.
